Role Overview

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process within a professional framework, ensuring accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient needs and the effectiveness of care provided by team members.
• Coordinate patient care across departments to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain adherence to the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing degree.
• Current RN license and meeting state board requirements.
• Preferred experience in Critical Care setting.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
