RN - Operating Room

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This position involves working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical nursing and a strong ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Responsibilities Prepare and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, and intravenously, and accurately record prescribed medications. Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with hospital policy. Educate patients on surgical procedures and record patients' medical information and vital signs. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays. Initiate corrective action whenever necessary to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
