About the Role

We are searching for a talented Registered Nurse (RN) with a $4,000 new hire sign-on bonus for candidates with 2+ years of RN Operating Room experience. Rehires termed greater than one year are eligible. This position is 32 hours per week on a day shift with an on-call rotation (weeknights, weekends, and holidays), with varied start times to meet department needs. The role is located in the Operating Room at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. Must be willing to rotate through all areas in perioperative services, including OR, ENDO, and CPU.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
• Deliver care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Operating Room (OR) experience required.
• ACLS certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying exemption.

Pay

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $40.35 - USD $71.76 per hour.
