Job Summary
This position is eligible for up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus AND up to $24,000 Student Loan Assistance. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery.
- Leverage expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, make critical assessments, perform skilled procedures, and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe surgical environment, including sterile technique.
- Assist anesthesia and/or the surgeon before, during, or after cases.
- Prepare the operating room, including equipment setup.
- Prepare lab specimens.
- Ensure instruments, implants, and supplies are ready based on the type of surgery.
- Circulate and/or scrub a case based on the day's assignment.
- Provide conscious sedation to endoscopy patients.
- Continuously and systematically assess the health care status of the patient, prioritizing and reprioritizing patient care based on assessment.
- Initiate and maintain an individual plan of care to meet identified patient problems or needs, based on analysis of assessment data, standards of nursing care, and practice.
- Collaborate with patient, primary care providers, family, internal, and community resources to coordinate patient discharge/transfer needs.
- Prioritize, perform, and delegate direct and/or indirect patient interventions necessary for the stabilization of the trauma patient.
- Prioritize and perform patient interventions necessary for triaging patients.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
Requirements
- Required: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 90 Days
- PREFERRED: Circulating Experience for the Heart Team
