RN Open Heart ICU at HealthPark Medical Center

Responsible for

• Safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process
• Utilizing critical thinking, management, problem solving, and differentiation of urgency in roles as clinician, teacher, researcher, leader, and professional developer
• Directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on clinical nursing practice standards
• Collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
• Two or more years of current ICU experience required
• Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date
• Current Florida RN license

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in nursing preferred
• Communication and interpersonal skills required
• Basic computer skills and customer service skills required
• Certification in specialty area preferred
