RN - On Call - NOC
About the role
This is an on-call, night-shift position for a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for human services. You will help improve the daily lives of community members by providing quality healthcare services to justice-involved individuals, supporting their rehabilitation, reintegration, and redemption.

Responsibilities
- Provide quality healthcare services to clients, including assessing somatic conditions and medical needs.
- Communicate with team members to determine appropriate treatment protocols and courses.
- Create a favorable group climate for the effective treatment of each enrolled client.
- Perform clinical tasks to support the provision of quality and cost-effective medical services to behavioral health clients.
Requirements
- Current Washington State RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with outside agencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Mental health and chemical dependency experience.
- Experience with electronic charting.
- Knowledge of local resources and services for individuals who are homeless, low-income, or experiencing chronic behavioral health challenges or legal system involvement.
- Mental Health Professional certification per WAC 246-341-0515.
- Experience in the direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbances, gained under the supervision of a mental health professional per RCW 71.34.020.

Pay
New hires for this position typically start between $33.49 and $51.35 hourly, depending on work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions.
