RN On Call Hospice

Overview: $5,000.00 sign‑on bonus! Full‑time position with an every‑weekend schedule (Friday 5 p.m. – Monday 8 a.m.).

Every weekend: starting on Friday at 5 p.m. and ending on Monday at 8 a.m.

Pay

Annual salary range: $90,000.00 – $93,000.00.

Compensation may vary based on geographic market, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial nursing assessment on new admissions.
• Complete, coordinate, and revise the total plan of care while maintaining continuity of patient care through collaboration with appropriate staff.
• Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager, physician, and care team.
• Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized patient care progress records with accuracy and timeliness according to care center policies.
• Record pain/symptom management changes and outcomes as appropriate.
• Educate families on patient condition, needs, and care.
• Make referrals to other hospice care disciplines as needed, or document rationale for not doing so.
• Perform on‑call responsibilities and services to patients/families as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state(s) of assignment.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.
