A Day in the Life of an RN - Obstetrical (OB)
As a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Obstetrics (OB) at our rural healthcare facility, you will provide comprehensive maternal-child healthcare encompassing antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. You are expected to utilize your expertise in nursing theory, employing effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
- Utilize the nursing process (observation, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to guide all activities.
- Quickly make decisions and adapt to diverse patient needs, particularly during emergency situations like Code C-sections or Code Pink alerts.
- Lead patient care teams to ensure high-quality care delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications
- Education and Experience Required:
- American Heart Association ACLS and NRP within 4 months of hire
- American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- STABLE within 1 year of hire
- Current Minnesota RN License
- For Charge RN: NRP within 4 months of hire, PALS within 1 year of hire
- Preferred:
- Previous experience in OB
Compensation And Benefits
The pay range is listed above. Actual pay rate offered is determined based on experience as an RN. Please be sure to include all applicable experience in your application.
