Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned nursing units
• Support, guide, and lead LPNs and CNAs
• Respond to resident needs and medical concerns in real-time
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate clinical documentation
• Assume responsibility as the Infection Preventionist Nurse
• Assume responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing Services and/or Director of Nursing Services

Requirements

• Active RN license in Vermont (or eligible for reciprocity)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Leadership potential and a passion for resident-centered care
• Prior long-term care experience is a plus, but not required for new grads

Qualifications

• Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
• Interest or experience in geriatrics
• Current BLS/CPR
• Experience with dementia population desirable
