RN-Nursing Professional Development Practitioner
About the role
Provides on unit and department specific education to nursing and allied health staff through informal and formal education programs. Assists Clinical Directors and Clinical Managers in ensuring staff onboarding, initial & ongoing competency management, skills assessment & development, and career-long opportunities for professional growth. Assists in accreditation and regulatory educational requirements and documentation.
Qualifications
Required education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s in Nursing. Required licensure/certification: California Registered Nurse (RN) License; American Heart Association BLS; Must meet requirements for assigned specialty clinical areas. Preferred: Certification in Nursing Professional Development; Certification in clinical specialty.
Required experience: Two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute hospital or ambulatory care clinical setting. Preferred experience: Clinical education and professional development experience; experience as a clinical leader/ charge nurse or preceptor.

- A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time RN positions, with part-time RN roles eligible for a prorated bonus, paid in installments of $2,500 with the first paycheck, $2,500 at one year, and $5,000 at two years
