About the role
Provides autonomous and collaborative healthcare services, including comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and management of illnesses for individuals, families, groups, and communities. Serves as researcher, consultant, and patient advocate in various settings. Performs duties to ensure high-quality patient care and clinical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develops care plans within scope of practice, following written protocols.
- Utilizes prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, and treatments in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Enhances nursing practice quality and effectiveness.
- Contributes to peer professional development and provides clinical leadership.
- Supports ongoing learning and completes assigned goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master's or Doctoral degree as a nurse practitioner.
- Current nurse practitioner certification with prescription privileges or eligibility.
- RN licensure required.
