RN Nurse Manager (Pediatrics) - $7,500 Sign On

Harbor Oaks Hospital, New Baltimore's leading Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Center, is seeking a passionate full-time Day Shift RN Manager for our pediatric unit in New Baltimore, MI. $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and effectively manage changes in census and acuity; allocate nursing resources based on patient acuity and care needs.
• Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrate a sense of urgency regarding patient safety.
• Accountable for the standard of care at the facility; provide consultations and expertise in patient care delivery.
• Serve as a clinical and service resource to nursing staff and other staff as assigned.
• Manage the activities of staff, coordinating safe and appropriate care between departments and disciplines.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current, unrestricted RN license (or eligibility to practice) in the state of employment.
• At least one year of nursing experience; behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred.
• Current CPR certification and willingness to complete de-escalation and restraint training (provided upon hire, if needed).
• First Aid certification, as required by state or facility guidelines.
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to documentation, and the ability to remain calm and therapeutic in behavioral health settings.
