Position Details
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Schedule Type: Rotating / No set schedule
Requirements
- Active California RN License
- BLS Certification – Required
- ACLS Certification – Required
- NRP Certification – Required
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification (within the last 2 years) – Required
- 5+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Charge Nurse experience – Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for the Labor & Delivery nursing team during night shifts
- Career Development: Mentor and support nursing staff to maintain high-quality patient care
- Coordinate patient care and staffing assignments
- Support clinical decision-making and patient safety initiatives
- Aid in high-risk deliveries and emergent situations
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
