RN Night Shift

Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Charge Nurse to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Jefferson City, MO. This is a full‑time night shift RN position for a dependable, compassionate nurse who enjoys providing quality resident care while serving as a leader and resource for the nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RN Charge Nurse and nursing leader on the assigned night shift.
• Provide quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Complete nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Respond appropriately to resident needs and changes in health status.
• Supervise, support, and provide direction to CNAs.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete accurate nursing documentation and charting.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active Missouri RN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post‑acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a nursing team.
• Charge nurse or nursing leadership experience is a plus.
