About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They coordinate patient care activities among staff to deliver quality nursing services while ensuring adherence to organizational policies and maintaining high standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professional growth and maintain high standards of nursing practice
• Coordinate patient care activities among nursing staff

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• No experience required; new graduates are eligible
• Hospital experience preferred; 1 year of experience required for PRN positions
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Additional advanced certifications may be advantageous
