About the role
Provides expert nursing care in the NICU and Women & Infants units, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Delivers direct patient care
- Models proficiency through precepting new staff
- Contributes to safety and quality at the point of care
- Supports specialty education and training to ensure competency
- Adheres to practice standards such as AWHONN and AACN
- Supports evidence-based care
- Fosters a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Promotes wellness, safety, and patient-centered care
Qualifications
- RN licensure
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- At least 6 months of Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of a fellowship
- BLS certification (mandatory)
- Ability to work night shifts (preferred)
