About the role

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Full-time NICU Registered Nurse at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients in the NICU setting.
  • Assess patient’s condition and develop and implement nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university; and/or graduate of an accredited NLN School.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have and maintain a current and valid state license (with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions) to practice as a Registered Nurse in one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • One year of related experience preferred.
  • Must have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members.
  • Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry, and automated records.

Qualifications
