RN Neuro Trauma ICU

Responsibilities

• Provide complex, evidence‑based care to patients with neurological injuries and multi‑system trauma in a fast‑paced, tertiary care setting.
• Conduct continuous patient assessments and titrate vasoactive and sedation infusions as needed.
• Manage ventilators and perform neuro checks to monitor patient status.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and support transitions of care.
• Maintain safety and quality standards while fostering a culture of compassion, teamwork, and professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN licensure.
• Experience in neuro critical care or trauma units is preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and educate patients and families.
