RN Neuro Med Surg Full Time Nights

About the role

Join a dynamic neuro medical-surgical unit providing care for patients with neurological, surgical, and chronic heart failure diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Act as an advocate and establish effective relationships with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and compassionate work environment while serving as a mentor to colleagues and students.
• Perform assessments, manage patient responses, and possibly conduct point-of-care testing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Valid RN license in the relevant state and BLS certification.
• No prior experience required.

Skills and physical requirements

• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
• Physical ability for frequent standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

This role involves night shifts.
