RN MSP/ICU PRN

Job Summary

You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive and ongoing assessments of patients' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs
• Develops and individualizes patient-centered care plans based on assessment findings, physician orders, and evidence-based practice
• Sets measurable patient goals and outcomes
• Administers medications safely and accurately via various routes, including oral, intravenous, subcutaneous, and intramuscular, according to physician orders and hospital policy
• Performs skilled nursing procedures, treatments, and interventions as prescribed (e.g., wound care, IV insertion, catheterization, ventilator management oversight)
• Maintains accurate records and communicates patient status to other healthcare providers
• Makes critical assessments and takes appropriate action based on patient vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic test findings

Requirements

• Completed education as a Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse: MN Basic Life Support - CPR
• Prior hospital experience preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Trauma Nurse Core Course
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support
