Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Frisco at PGA Parkway – Join us in an extraordinary opportunity to be at the forefront of our new hospital in Frisco, Texas. Our new facility spans 340,000 square feet and introduces a state‑of‑the‑art facility tailored to the evolving needs of our rapidly growing population, housing crucial departments such as emergency, inpatient, procedural, and women and children. Located at 7600 Better Way, Frisco, Texas. Shift: PRN Days, one 12‑hour shift per week, 7a‑7p, self‑scheduling, including weekends and holidays. Preferred experience: Minimum 2 years of RN Mother Baby.

Responsibilities
- Prioritize needs.
- Create, implement, and assess care plan to achieve outcomes.
- Adapt plan as necessary.
- Observe indicators closely, support evidence‑based changes with research and hands‑on learning.
- Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Build relationships with boundaries in mind.
- Focus on managing emotional and physical pain to promote healing and reduce suffering.
- Facilitate learning for all members of the healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff, ensuring everyone is well‑informed.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the community to develop and execute an integrated plan of care.
- Use problem‑solving strategies and utilize available resources to support patients, family and staff as part of a systems thinking approach.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN Mother Baby experience (preferred).
- Hold a BLS certificate now or obtain within 30 days of starting.
- Current Registered Nurse License.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nursing program or have at least 2 years of experience surpassing the minimal qualification required.
- Field of study: Nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years in a relevant role is expected.
