Required Experience & Certifications
- 2 Years of recent Mother/Baby RN Experience
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certified
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- Active RN License
About the Facility
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is a community-based hospital offering the specialties of an urban medical center. The facility is licensed for 176 beds and includes three medical surgical units, an intensive care unit, Labor & Delivery, New Family Unit, Antepartum, Neonatal Intensive Care, Surgical Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and Emergency Department. The hospital holds multiple designations including Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, Maternal and Level III NICU. Nursing is on the journey towards Pathways to Excellence with plans to seek Magnet designation upon completion.
The hospital also has a significant outpatient footprint in the community, including physical medicine, wound care, sleep center, imaging, and two free-standing Emergency Departments serving Rowlett, Forney, Wylie, and surrounding areas.
