RN-Mental Health Unit

Responsibilities

• To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care at Registered Nurse or LPN skill level, in collaboration with the Medical Plan of Care, with a minimum of assistance.
• To function as primary care leader, associate, or charge nurse so that optimum quality of patient care is maintained according to the philosophy and objectives of Allen Hospital.
• To exercise accountability responsibility, authority, autonomy, and act as a role model and resource person with expanded theory and expertise.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to plan, assess, implement, and evaluate the nursing care delivered to a group of patients.
• Able to meet the physical demands on file in the Human Resources Department.

Pay

• FTE/Hours per pay period: 0.9
• Shift Differentials: $5.00/hour from 3p-11p, $7.50/hour from 11p-7a, additional $7.50/hour on weekends

Schedule

• Full-time, Days with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
