About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The nurse is responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among the assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• No experience required; new graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred
• Current Georgia State RN licensure or multistate license
• BCLS certification required
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, with specific training timelines
• Preferred certifications include dialysis certification, critical care, emergency, pediatrics, surgical services, and women’s services credentials
