Role Overview: The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan within the Med Surg Oncology unit, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and maintaining high standards of practice. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing processes.Coordinate care activities of assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services.Administer chemotherapy for oncology patients, requiring chemotherapy certification within 8-12 months post-hire.Demonstrate professional growth, accountability, and adherence to safety standards. Qualifications Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible.Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license; BLS certification required.Preferred: Bachelor's degree, advanced certifications, hospital-based nursing experience.
