About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Valid RN licensure in the relevant state
• BCLS certification required
• No experience required; new graduates eligible (hospital experience preferred)

Certifications & Specializations

• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or specialty-specific credentials are required based on area of practice, with some certifications needed within a specified timeframe
• Pediatric and women’s health units require specific neonatal resuscitation and fetal monitoring certifications
