About the role
As an RN within BayCare Medical Group, you will support the physician office healthcare team by utilizing the nursing process, clinical standards, and established protocols to help manage and coordinate patient care. This position requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration, and the ability to work independently while supporting providers and other healthcare team members.
Responsibilities
- Support the physician office healthcare team.
- Independently manage a group of patients using the nursing process.
- Apply clinical standards and established protocols to support patient care.
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriate patient care activities.
- Review patient information and coordinate follow-up activities.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Support quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment to support patient outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education Required: Technical Degree in Nursing OR Associate Degree in Nursing
- PREFERRED: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience Required: One (1) year of Nursing experience
- PREFERRED: One (1) year of Medical Office experience
Licenses / Certifications
- Required: Active Florida RN License
