Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Deliver patient care from pediatric to geriatric stages and perform thorough, systematic assessments.
• Clinical Skills: Provide competent nursing care and demonstrate knowledge of emergency equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Professionalism: Exhibit professional practice responsibility and identify areas for growth.
• Patient Satisfaction: Respond to patients and families professionally, maintaining confidentiality.
• Safety: Follow National Patient Safety Goals and use safe transfer techniques.
• Unit Specific Knowledge: Understand surgical conditions, procedures, and equipment.
• Responsibility and Accountability: Prioritize patient care based on needs and condition changes.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, including pre‑ and postoperative care.
• PAT RN Duties: Ensure timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing orders.

Skills and Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• BLS – Required
• RN License – Required
