About the role

Summary Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessing patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, ensuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
  • Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
  • Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  • Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's Degree Nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
  • Experience: Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
  • Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Certification [NRP] - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification [PALS] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred
