RN Med/Surg- SK3

About the Role

We are searching for a talented Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med/Surg Unit at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. This position is for 32 hours per week on the night shift (11:15 PM - 7:15 AM), with a weekend and holiday rotation schedule (every other weekend and every other holiday).

SK3 is a 21-bed surgical unit specializing in the care of post-operative patients, including those undergoing Bariatric, Orthopedic, General, Gynecological, and Plastic surgeries. The unit prides itself on providing excellent patient care using a multidisciplinary approach and offers Telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
• Deliver care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent (required).
• Over three months up to and including one year of experience (preferred).
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the exemption.

Pay

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $40.35 - USD $71.76 per hour.
