RN - Med/Surg Float Pool - Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Float Pool, responsible for assessing, managing, and providing comprehensive nursing care across various surgical units.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, develop and evaluate individualized care plans, administer medications, and coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families, support discharge planning, and document all care activities accurately
• Manage pain, restraint use, abuse assessment, infection control, and promote patient safety and service excellence
• Demonstrate professionalism, collaborate effectively, maintain safety standards, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the respective state
• Valid BLS certification
• Proficiency in clinical and communication skills
