About the role
This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in various care settings. The nurse collaborates with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, utilizing critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and administer prescribed medications
- Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans
- Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical services
- Identify and address psychosocial needs and communicate with social services
- Prioritize patient care effectively and promote safety
- Engage in lifelong professional learning
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- RN licensure
- Computer literacy
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire
Preferred Skills
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
