Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients
- Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies and standards
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of recent General Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Current Michigan RN License
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Highly Preferred: At least 1 year of experience working on a Surgical Floor
Floating Requirements
- Auto offers are approved for qualified candidates.
- This facility is acuity adaptable, and candidates may be required to float to an equal or lower acuity unit based on staffing needs.
- Nurses may also be asked to float to a lockdown unit if required.
