Job Summary

• Leverage expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care.
• Make critical assessments and perform skilled procedures.
• Meticulously implement patient care plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Perform assessments and analyze patient problems and conditions using critical decision-making to determine need for interventions.

• Implement and modify care plans using assessment data, standards of care, and evidence-based practice.
• Incorporate nursing care coordination, patient and family education, and discharge planning.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary partnerships in patient care.
• Integrate ethical provisions in nursing practice and deliver care that respects patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Evaluate progress towards desired patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in KY.
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days.
