Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Affords continuous patient health assessment and detects changes in symptoms, health, or pain; takes appropriate actions
- Responds promptly to life-threatening situations according to nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
- Prioritizes patient care plans based on assessed needs and prepares for personnel, supplies, and equipment required
- Collaborates with providers to deliver exceptional care
- Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in accordance with policies and procedures
- Provides patient and family education
Job Requirements
- Associate of Nursing degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse license in North Dakota
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification upon hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of start
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of start
Preferred
- RN experience
