Responsibilities

• Ensures optimal patient care
• Follows verbal and written orders from physician or provider
• Maintains accurate patient records and documentation
• Trains incoming medical assistants to follow protocol, procedures, and policies
• Assists physician in medical and surgical procedures utilizing appropriate practice guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Follows HIPAA compliance
• Communicates effectively with other team members and patients
• Provides clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff during daily operations
• Demonstrates and responds to emergent situations
• Performs all nursing care to nursing standards
• Participates in any/all required education and competencies

Requirements

• Associate degree required
• Valid KY RN license
• 2-3+ years minimum experience in an office setting with management experience preferred
• BLS required through American Heart Association (renewals included with TRH employment)
