About the role

The RN Manager Rivertown ER assists the Emergency Department Director in the day‑to‑day operations and holds overall responsibility for the nursing department.

Grand Strand Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is a 300+ bed acute care facility offering cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, pediatric ICU, Level I trauma center with two free‑standing emergency departments, advanced wound care, breast cancer center, and imaging services. The hospital has been recognized by the Joint Commission for chest pain, knee and hip replacement, sepsis, and stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ED Director in day‑to‑day emergency department operations.
• Oversee the nursing department and ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Active Registered Nurse license to practice in South Carolina or a compact state.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• 3+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• 2+ years of nursing leadership experience preferred.
