RN Manager, Labor and Delivery

Seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead a healthcare unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Include Supervising and coordinating daily nursing and ancillary staff activities, fostering a safe and efficient environment.Collaborating with physicians, staff, and leadership to optimize clinical operations and patient satisfaction.Building a high-performing team through recruitment, staff evaluations, coaching, and addressing educational needs.Setting and monitoring goals for patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.Conducting rounds, resolving operational issues, and coordinating care plans with the healthcare team.Managing staffing requirements, scheduling, and ensuring adequate coverage and throughput.Maintaining safety standards, preventing complications, and participating in emergency preparedness. Qualifications Include Bachelor's Degree in nursing (required); Master’s preferred.RN licensure in the state of practice (required).Relevant certifications such as BLS, NRP, FHM, ACLS, and STABLE (required).At least one year of leadership experience (preferred).Two years of acute care nursing experience (preferred). Skills And Attributes Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.Ability to foster teamwork, develop staff, and improve clinical outcomes.Proficiency in clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
