What You’ll Do
- Provide nursing support, rehabilitative needs, and preventative care in a ratio of 1:3 at the ChildServe Center
- Interact with the child and participate in fun activities
- Complete electronic documentation and MAR
- Possibly perform tasks such as medication administration, g-tube nutrition, seizure management, urinary cath, respiratory support, etc.
- A current valid RN/LPN license in Iowa
- A valid driver’s license with two or fewer violations in the past three years
- An active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience working with children with special health care needs preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand
