RN/LPN Supervisor

Position Summary

Nurse Supervisor, directs the function of our nursing staff other Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, effectively communicate with residents, families, physicians, and other care staff to ensure the optimal wellbeing of the resident.

Responsibilities

• Administer professional nursing services, including setting up and passing medications, observing the five rights of medication administration, monitoring for medication effects and/or interactions
• Participate in resident care planning
• Recognize and identify changes in resident’s condition
• Responsible for providing routine and non-emergent care to residents

Requirements

• Completion of a nursing program at an accredited school of nursing
• At least two years of experience in nursing care in a similar setting preferred
• Possession of a current Florida nursing license
• Valid Driver’s License
• Excellent people skills to relate effectively to staff, residents, families, and community members
• Effective supervisory skills with the ability to participate in clinical and administrative decision making based on established policies and procedures
• Empathetic, energetic, and affinity for working with a diverse senior population
