RN / LPN – Patient-Focused Nursing – Western KY

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate LPN/RN to join our team in a locally owned and operated nursing home group serving Western Kentucky. This role is designed for nurses who want to focus on direct resident care, including scheduling, staffing coordination, or administrative oversight. Our goal is to provide a structured, supportive environment where nurses can prioritize high-quality patient care.

Essential Duties

• Provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the charge nurse or provider
• Accurately document care and treatments in the medical record system (EMAR/EHR)
• Assist residents with care needs as appropriate during the shift
• Collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
• Contribute to a calm, respectful, resident-centered environment

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong clinical observation and patient care skills
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
• Desire to work in a non-management, patient-focused nursing role
• Commitment to professional, compassionate resident care
