Responsibilities
- Follow the Comprehensive Care Plan for patients.
- Aid the Unit Manager in accurate and thorough documentation in the patient record.
- Supervise direct resident care personnel during your shift.
Requirements
- Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Indiana.
- Pass the physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
- Professional manner and appearance.
Qualifications
- Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
- Competent in supervision and leadership.
- Caring attitude.
- Observant.
- Good judgement and emotional stability.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Job Knowledge
- Nursing policies and procedures.
- Administration of medication, possible side effects, treatment administration.
- Local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care.
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices.
- Physical, psychological, social, and medical needs of residents.
- Organizational structure and duties of employees under supervision of unit manager.
