RN / LPN Full Time Night Shift

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at St. James is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to seniors in a Christian environment. This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver individualized care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the coordination of care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide direct patient care, including medication management, monitoring vital signs, and performing daily routines.
• Assist in the coordination of care, including delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by addressing care concerns and maintaining a positive, supportive environment.

Requirements

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing best practices and standards.

Pay

$28.50 - $48.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Full time, Night shift: 10:30pm - 7:00am.
