RN/LPN – Day Shift

About the role

Avenues Recovery Center in Prince Frederick, MD is now hiring RNs and LPNs for their Day Shift. This position plays a vital role in helping individuals begin recovery in a safe, supportive, and highly structured medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Collapse
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
• Collapse
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
• Collapse
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
• Collapse
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles

Qualifications

At Avenues, nurses are expected to have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and a passion for helping others recover. Experience in behavioral health, detox, med-surg, corrections, LTC, or similar fields is preferred but not required.

Skills

Nurses should possess excellent communication skills, be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and demonstrate a compassionate and dignified demeanor that aligns with the values of recovery.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25 - $35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The shift is a Day Shift, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
