About the role
The Primary Care Nurse is responsible for overseeing the care of a specific group of residents, supervising team members including Shahbazim, coordinating referrals to other clinical support team members, families, and physicians, and serving as the primary point of contact for elder information.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate care for assigned residents
- Coordinate referrals to other members of the clinical support team, families, and physicians
- Serve as the primary point of contact for elder information
- Supervise and lead a team of healthcare providers
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
- BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Qualifications
- 6 months of Nursing experience in a health care facility (acute care, long term care, rehabilitation center)
- Supervision/leadership experience
