Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Responsibilities include collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care; practicing within the full scope of nursing expertise and applying age‑ and population‑specific standards; providing preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment; coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, providing resident education, and performing other nursing interventions; serving as charge nurse and delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel according to job descriptions, skills, resident needs, and delegate competence; supporting delegates to ensure safe, reliable care and resolution of concerns; and functioning within the scopes and standards of nursing practice per the state Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Rules, and the ANA Scope, Standards, and Code of Ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing (or multistate licensure if in an NLC state).
• Obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.

Pay

Salary range: $38.50 – $48.00 per hour.

Shift: 8‑hour varied shifts; Job schedule: PRN; Weekly hours: varies.
