Schedule

• Full time, 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Straight night differential

Pay

• Salary range: $32.00 – $48.00 per hour
• $10,000 sign-on bonus, paid in two increments ($5,000 at 6 months and $5,000 at 1 year)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, interdisciplinary colleagues, and providers to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise, using appropriate age- and population-specific standards. Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinates care, performs resident assessments, provides education, and delivers various nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel based on job descriptions, skills, resident needs, and delegate competence. Ensures safe, reliable care and resolution of concerns. Functions within the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state of practice and licensure.

• Adhere to state Nurse Practice Act and professional standards

Requirements

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred), such as CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
• Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practicing, or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
