RN - Labor/Delivery (L&D)

About the role

OB nurse needed to provide comprehensive care for Labor and Delivery as well as Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care. The role includes working with Gynecology surgery patients. The nurse may float to Med/Surg if no patients are present in L&D. Collaboration with an LPN during shifts; the RN covers all responsibilities within their scope for laboring patients, triages, and mother-baby care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients, triages, and mother-baby units
• Collaborate with LPNs in a supportive role
• Float to Med/Surg if necessary, and assist with tasks such as vital signs and medication passing

Requirements

• BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications required
• Experience with OB and Gynecology patients preferred
