RN Labor & Delivery

About the Role

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in labor and delivery, including assessments, implementing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Prioritize patient needs, utilize equipment properly, adapt interventions based on patient condition changes, serve as a patient advocate, and uphold ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments
• Develop individualized care plans with patient and family input
• Implement and reassess interventions
• Respond promptly to patient condition changes to ensure safety and effective recovery

Requirements

• 6 months of acute care experience in labor and delivery
• Current California RN license
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and basic fetal monitoring

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong assessment skills and critical thinking
• Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities
• Compassionate patient care

Preferred: Bachelor of Nursing and one year of acute care experience.
