RN Labor and Delivery Supervisor

About the role

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) or Nurse Supervisor ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent applicable experience in L&D (Required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• Neonate Resuscitate (Required)
• Registered Nurse (RN) in TX or holds a compact license
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (Required)
• BSN Preferred – Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required; BSN must be obtained within 24 months of hire
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring, or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
